GITAM In-Charge Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.Siva Rama Krishna released results of GITAM Admission Test (GAT-2019) here on Saturday along with GITAM Registrar Prof. K.V.G.D. Balaji, Hyderabad Campus Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.Sivaprasad.
While releasing the results, Mr Siva Rama Krishna informed that around 50,000 candidates have appeared the GAT-2019 online exam at 50 cities across the country, from April 10 to 22. The university will conduct online admission counselling from May 9 to May 11 at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Hyderabad and Bengaluru centres, he said.
Mr Siva Rama Krishna also said that the university has decided to offer ₹30 crore worth merit scholarships to top rankers in GAT-2019, JEE Main Exam, A.P., Telangana, EAMCET from 2019 academic year. To encourage Post Graduate students in professional courses, particularly in M.Tech, M.Arch., & M.Pharm., programmes, the university has decided to give annual scholarships to all admitted students, he said.
