On the same day, the former Chief Minister Jagdish Shettar, who has been nominated by the BJP as election in-charge of the district, will be undertaking a poll campaign in Ballari (ST) and Ballari (City) Assembly segments. He will also be holding meetings with MLAs, former MLAs and members of zilla and taluk panchayats representing the party and motivate them to work for the success of the party candidate.
