Three State units toe the Lodha line

Three State units have submitted their compliance reports to the Committee of Administrators (CoA).

It is learnt that Karnataka, Maharashtra and Baroda have fallen in line with the recommendations of the Lodha Committee. For Maharashtra, it would mean a huge financial relief since it had claimed to be in heavy debts.

Meanwhile, the Board’s Ombudsman-cum-ethics officer D.K. Jain, on Wednesday served ‘Conflict of Interest’ notices on Sachin Tendulkar and V.V.S. Laxman for being mentors of IPL teams Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad while also keeping their positions as members of the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC).

Sourav Ganguly, who is also assisting Delhi Capitals, has reportedly offered to quit the CAC, of which he is the third member.
