MS Dhoni’s phenomenal fan following is not hidden from anyone. Though the former India skipper is on a two-month break, and no one even knows where he is physically but MS Dhoni is always there in the minds of Indian cricket.
The wicketkeeper-batsman faced wide criticism for his “lack of intent” during the World Cup 2019. However, Dhoni remains to be loved the same by his fans. A proof of this was recently seen when Virat Kohli posted a picture with his predecessor that sparked speculation surrounding Dhoni’s retirement to send India into a panic mode.
Another proof of his wide fan following was presented in a survey that revealed that MS Dhoni is the second most admired person amongst Indians. The World Cup winning captain is only behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the list.
