Watch: Chris Gayle does the Bhangra as Kings XI Punjab return to Mohali

Kings XI Punjab are back in their den in Mohali and Chris Gayle, the Universe Boss, was in high spirits as he stepped off the team bus ahead of the clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 22 of the 2019 Indian Premier League on Monday.

Chris Gayle, the greatest T20 batsman in the world, was seen doing the Bhangra when KXIP reached the stadium for their 6th match of the season. Both KXIP and SRH have played 5 matches each and have 6 points each after winning 3.

Chris Gayle was in brilliant form for Kings XI Punjab in the 2018 Indian Premier League when he scored 368 runs including a hundred from 11 matches.

His hundred had incidentally come against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Mohali – during a stunning assault, he bashed Rashid Khan for four successive sixes.

Chris Gayle has played only 4 of KXIP’s 5 matches this year but he has been in good form once again. He has 144 runs including a best of 79 against Rajasthan Royals.

During the 2019 Indian Premier League, Chris Gayle became the fastest to 4000 IPL runs and the first player to hit 300 sixes in the IPL.

KXIP defeated Delhi Capitals in a thriller last week when Sam Curran became the youngest bowler to pick a hat-trick. His sensational spell coupled with Mohammed Shami’s experience helped KXIP snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
