Superstar Rajinikanth is the second Indian, after prime minister Narendra Modi to feature in Bear Grylls’ iconic show, Man vs Wild. The actor, along with her daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth, headed to Bandipur forest on January 28 to shoot for the show.
Reports surfaced that the Petta actor suffered minor injuries while shooting for the show. Rajinikanth headed back to Chennai yesterday (January 28) night and addressed the media. Stating that he has got a few scratches, he assured that it wasn’t anything major.
Addressing the media, Rajinikanth said, “I have completed the shooting of an episode of Man vs Wild. I did not suffer any major injury but just scratches due to little thorns, that’s it. I am alright.”

Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared in the Man vs Wild show and explored his adventurous side. The special episode which was shot at Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand received tremendous response from the audience.
It is unclear as to when Rajinikanth’s episode will be aired on Discovery channel. Reportedly, this season will feature a lot of Hollywood celebrities including Channing Tatum, Brie Larson, Joel McHale, Cara Delevingne, Rob Riggle, Armie Hammer and Dave Batista.
On the work front, Superstar Rajinikanth is presently shooting for his 168th film, which is being directed by Siruthai Siva.
