Tejashwi Yadav was on Sunday granted special permission by the home department and the jail administration to meet his father Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief, who is admitted in Ranchi Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims).
Tejashwi Yadav was supposed to meet Lalu Prasad on Saturday.
However, a special permission was given to the RJD leader on Sunday evening since he could not see his father on Saturday.
After the meeting, Tejashwi Yadav said that on Lalu’s health ground, he has moved a bail petition in the Jharkhand High Court.
If the court grants Lalu bail, he will take his father to a higher medical centre for a better treatment, he said.
Speaking of the Army’s action on the terror launch pads and Pakistan Army posts in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK), Tejashwi Yadav saluted the Indian Army and said there should be no politics when it was about the Army.
